In 2005, Calgary Transit purchased 10 MCI TC40102A "Classics" from a Quebec company. These buses were acquired from Connecticut Transit and refurbished by the company before being sent to Calgary. The air conditioning and wheelchair lifts have been disabled in these buses. They are equipped with the Detroit Diesel 6v92TA engine and the Allison V731 3-speed transmission. Also, these bus are equipped with Luminator flipdot destination signs instead of the typical Vultrons.
