ETS expanded its fleet for the fourth consecutive year with an additional 66 buses. These buses were pretty much identical to the 2000 order, powered by the Cummins ISC engine and Allison B400R5 transmission. This was the last year that ETS D40LFs were to be equipped with Balios orange LED destination signs.
