New D40LFs began arriving at ETS during January of 2005. The first buses were delivered as early as January 7. These buses are equipped with Luminator Horizon orange LED destination signs as well as the Cummins ISL engine and the Allison B400R5 transmission. Some interseting notes about these buses are that some have rear ad racks, as well as a pad near the wheelchair seats (some 2001 models also have these). When delivered, the destination sign programming had centered readings, but this has since been fixed.
