On June 19, 2007, ETS received TransLink 2242, a new trolley bus on lease. This bus was re-numbered 6000 and joins ETS's test fleet for a year. Featuring an emergency power unit (EPU), this bus can run off-wire for a distance to get around any obstruction. Unlike hybrids, this bus is a zero-emissions vehicle as it has no diesel engine at all.
