In July 2009, ETS started receiving its order of 121 D40LFRs. These buses are equipped with Luminator Horizon orange LED destination signs and are powered by the Cummins ISL engine and the Allison B400R5 transmission. They feature USSC Aries seating, and have squared off door windows from the Xcelsior design.
