ETS 5001 is a unique bus in the ETS fleet - the only Crestline owned by the city for DATS services. This bus may have been privately owned in the past, or purchased in 2001 as a training vehicle. Since the bus number is 5001, it was probably the first bus to be purchased and painted for the new city-operated DATS service. However, ETS decided against the Crestline body style and now has ordered around 100 Corbeils also on a more powerful Ford Econoline chassis (E-450 instead of the E-350 on 5001).
