• During the "Homecoming Weekend" for Edmonton's 100th Birthday, many events were open to the public. Fort Edmonton Park, a historical/restored area of Edmonton, was allowing the public in free of charge. Two fellow transit enthusiasts and I took the opportunity to ride these restored streetcars, including the extraordinary #80, which is a 1930 Ottawa Car Company steel-bodied vehicle restored almost from scratch. The cars are operated by the Edmonton Radial Railway Society, and I look forward to many more of their future restorations!
