St. Alberta had an ex-New Flyer demonstrator bus. It was built in 1992 to BC Transit (Victoria) specifications and had a Detroit Diesel 6V92TA engine coupled to a Voith D863.3E transmission. It was originally numbered 888, but was later renumbered to 843 to fit in with the rest of the fleet.

St. Albert 843 is a former NewFlyer demonstrator built with Victoria, BC specifications. It used to be numbered 888 when St. Albert Transit started running this bus. This 1992 NewFlyer D40LF is seen at the terminal on River Crest Crescent.
