These buses are powered by the Detroit Diesel 6V92TA engine and the Allison V731 transmission. This order of buses was the first with digital Luminator flipdots signs. A number of these buses were also equipped with the orange arrow mounted on the front of the bus, allowing them to be used for the 505 R-Bus on the Pie-IX. STM 60-076 has had a rear door light custom installed, possibly as a test.
